I had been following the Rsenal Racing team as they prepared for their first-time competition in the event and was going to be riding down with them to present the up-close story of their effort.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, when they read <a href=\"http:\/\/motorcyclecolorado.com\/blog\/stumbling-forward-on-road-to-baja-1000\/\" target=\"_blank\">my most recent post<\/a> on the ongoing story of planning and preparation, they seriously misconstrued what I wrote and informed me that they didn&#8217;t want me.<\/p>\n<p>So I won&#8217;t be going to Baja but I&#8217;m trying to work out arrangements where I can still provide some coverage of the race, although obviously not through the Rsenal Racing folks.
