The goal of Passes & Canyons<\/i> is to guide you to Colorado\u2019s best motorcycle roads<\/a> and help you find what you need when you get there, whether it\u2019s motels<\/a>, campgrounds<\/a>, bike repair<\/a>, rallies<\/a> \u2014 you name it. We also point you to some of Colorado’s best tourist attractions<\/a> as well as to those sometimes necessary dealers or repair shops<\/a>. We also offer recommendations of tour companies, motorcycle and scooter rental outlets<\/a>, and anything else<\/a> we can offer to be useful to you. Use this site to plan great motorcycle trips in Colorado. Zoom in on the maps to see the details, or follow the links to the part of the state that interests you.<\/p>\n

Motorcycle Colorado \u2013 Passes & Canyons<\/i> is participatory. If you know of a terrific stretch of road, a restaurant worth recommending, or anything else that belongs on the site, let us know about it. Those sorts of things generally go into the Passes & Canyons Blog<\/a>, along with my own writings and ruminations on all things motorcycle and the occasional guest post. We also welcome stories of your rides and motorcycle trips<\/a>. Please send them along and we’ll get them right up.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve got a good bit of this site built out now, but there\u2019s still more to add. Most recently we’ve been adding some good unpaved roads on our Dirt Roads and Side Trips in Colorado page<\/a>. For all the great paved roads there are many more unpaved ones, some rough dirt, others decent gravel. If you feel like really seeing the wilds you’ll want to check these out. We have divided the state into a grid with 16 sectors, starting at the northwest with Dinosaur and going east to Fort Morgan, then back to the west for the second tier to the south. Because a map would not work well on this mobile-friendly version of this home page we will simply list them in numeric order.
