Crossing the Colorado Prairie – Limon, Burlington
This portion of the state is just miles of road to be crossed. Still, the two-lanes are good and fast and almost
always more interesting than I-70. US Highway 50, further south, runs along the
Arkansas River and is definitely a better motorcycle road. US 40/287 is also a
nice alternative, as is US 36.
Here are some shots from the state line on U.S. 36. It's pretty much just prairie out there.
